ABC RN: The Shameem soul session

While I was in Sydney during my Australian Solo Tour, I dropped into the ABC studios at the request of ABC RN presenter Geoff Wood, to record and film some live performances for his program, The Rhythm Divine. Here’s the video that they produced of my performance of “Beautiful Soul”.

While I was speaking to Geoff Wood, my hubby Kia was in the control room chatting to Roi, the online video producer, and they got talking about my birthmark. Kia told Roi about my song “Strawberry” and he loved the story behind it, so he asked me if we could film a take of this song, even though we hadn’t initially planned to. We had two camera operators for the other videos that were shot, but because this was impromptu and the other operator had already left, Roi shot this all by himself in one continuous shot.
