My lovely husband Kia came along on my recent solo tour; it’s the first time he’s come on the road with me touring. He decided to take a selfie every day with me in the background… This is the tour from his point of view.

House concert in Kitchener, Ontario – little video snippets

Here’s some little video taken on a mobile device during my “house concert” in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. The concert was in fact held in Haft Vadi Bellydancing studio… thanks to my hosts Dharlene and Sheldon Valeda, as well as Ralph and Miranda Phelan who invited me to come to Kitchener!

This song is a gig favourite where I often get the crowd to sing along… it’s called “Give Thanks”.

Supporting Belinda Carlisle!

On Saturday 17th March, Shameem will be performing a support set for Belinda Carlisle‘s Perth show at the Astor Theatre! Belinda gained worldwide fame as the lead vocalist of the Go-Go’s, one of the most successful all-female bands and the first such group whose members wrote their own songs and played their own instruments. She went on to have a successful solo career, spawning such hits as “Heaven Is A Place On Earth” and “Summer Rain”.

Check out gig details here.
