Perth Songstress Shameem will be bringing her band and brand new album to Albany for a show at the White Star Hotel on Friday, December 16.

Dubbed Australia’s answer to Alicia Keys and often compared to British chanteuse Sade, Shameem’s style is a unique fusion of 90s-esque R&B/ soul with jazz and 70s funk elements, employing a live band. Her expressive, naturally soulful voice and sense for conscious lyrics is both refreshing and infectious. While her songs defy a number of musical conventions, none will walk away without a tune replaying in their head.
