Crowd funding in October

We launched the crowd funding campaign for our next album on Monday 7th October, and we’re now almost halfway through the 56-day campaign. It’s been an amazing journey, and I’ve been so blown away by how amazingly supportive and generous everyone has been of the project. Within the first 24 hours we had already met 25% per cent of our target, which climbed to over 40% after one week, 67% after two weeks and 81% after three weeks!

We’re well on track to meeting our goal, and we have 80 wonderful supporters to thank for it! These supporters include two “honourary producers” (King T Lee and Blucielo Capital), and six “patrons” (Square Turtle Studios, Carol Anne Gorjy, Kate & Noel Kenny, Nasrin Manouchehri, Mahshid Taheri Law and Adrian Orlando).

Every few days I’ve taken a “thank you” picture to express my gratitude to all the supporters. Look for your name in here!

All the money raised from this campaign will go directly into meeting the expenses of recording the album; paying for the studio, recording engineer, photography and graphic design, pressing of CDs, and making of three music videos to accompany the singles from the album, among other things. I’ll post more about this soon!
